May I know if there is/are any herbal supplements that would help prevent restlessness and insomnia on individuals who have mild alzheimers?

    ———————————–

From Doc Emil: Try anise seed tea. A few seeds of anise in 1 cup boiling water, keep covered (steep) for 5 mins and then drink 3-4 x a week. Tarragon tea (same preparation – use only a few leaves per cup) may also help “calm”. A more stronger one is passion flower which can cause sleepiness, but this is quite hard to find.

    doc,

Can I store tarragon tea in the ref so I wont boil tarragon leaf everytime?

Up to how many days can I store the tea?

    thanks.

    ———————————–

From Doc Emil: Dry the tarragon leaves, store in dry container (always check for molds everytime – don’t use if mold develops) and use them when you want to prepare your tea. Just a few leaves in a cup of boiling water. Don’t boil the leaves and store the tea. Prepare the tea when you want to it.
