If you’re in for lossing weight by eating less but is afraid that you will likely go hypoglycemic, try natural fruit juice or fruit and vegetable mix to replace 1 meal, try not to skip the two regular meals. Blend your own juice and strain the fiber and keep in a cold thermos if you’re working. It would be good to take this fruit meal in the evening instead and have it really fresh and ready for a good night rest. You could blend or extract juice from fruits that are on season. If you buy watermelon, do not extract the juice and blend it with other fruit extracts, watermelon is best eaten as is or as a fruit salad/cocktail.
Your base fruit and vege juice can be pineapple-carrot, then add cucumber and maybe malunggay (IF YOU ARE IN FOR A MORE HEALTHY STUFF!). As you take this kind of juice on a daily basis, with or without the fasting, as a supplement, you can vary the third component, i.e., cucumber, and replace it with, say celery. Try to experiment with how it taste with other vege known to be rich in anti-oxidants.

Stress is major factor in alopecia (hair loss). Keep a healthy diet and have a stress management regimen. Topical application of aloe vera with coconut virgin oil is a good choice. Infections of the scalp and daily use of shampoo are also some of the causes. Check your scalp for scaling and switch to shampoos wih vitamins and natural ingredients. There are some who have advocated the use of mashed bananas on the hair which could put more vitamins on the scalp. Just put mashed bananas, those that are overriped and you would not want to eat, for about 30 minutes before a shampoo/ bath time.

Dear Dr. Emil Aligui
Greetings!
Sorry my concern is not related to the topic above. May I request your assistance to publish in this website, the topic, lever flush – home remedy, which I had seen in SALAMAT DOC, ABS CBN progam last year.
Hoping for your kind consideration on my humble request.

these are good information which are very helpful to everybody. however, can i request information on how to improve metabolism, my metabolism was very slow due to my hypothyrodism.do you have tips on how to combat this disorder naturally?
———————————–
From Doc Emil: If your hypothyroidism is a hormonal problem, herbals can’t solve it. You have to have a hormone supplementation which is prescribed by an endocrinologist. If it is iodine deficiency natural remedies would be to eat foods rich in iodine such as malunggay, sea weeds and sea food. If you have not had a laboratory examination, say TSH assay, it would be difficult if the clinical presentation is not evident or obvious. You can try the natural therapy using food I mentioned and see if it works.

good day! doc I love to eat mangosteen, but I want to know how can I make juice/tea out of the seeds/husk? please help me. mangosteen is quite expensive. & I read some blogs that is high in xanthones? I’ll be waiting patiently for your response. happy holidays! & god Bless!
From Dr. Aligui: Scrape the inner side of the fruit or the pulp that is adherent to the shell. Boil a spoonful in 2 cups of water and cool. That’s your mangosteen extract which contains the anti-oxidants. If you have plenty of scrapings, put it in a plastic bag and store in the freezer for use later on. This method of storing the pulp is useful in cases you have plenty of a mangosteen which have been eaten for dessert. In some cases you can prepare fruit juice with a blend of mangosteen pulp.
