gud day doc.can we use alugbati fruit extract for bacterial staining? if yes, what is its properties that enable it to stain paki answer din po. may research din po ako. slamat po.
————-
No research has been done on the use of alugbati for bacterial staining. May be you should analyze alubati for this kind of use or property as part of your research. If you can prove that alugbati can be used for bacterial staining but you cannot perform analysis of the physical properties of the extract, the only recourse that you can do, given that there is no direct answer, is to find the qualities of histopath stains that match that of alugbati. You have to consult a pathologist or a professor of histology to explain staining. I would advise also that you read materials related to staining because that is part of your work in doing the research.

Have it documented by the botanist. The National Museum is also the assigned authority to validate medicinal plants in terms of taxonomy.
