With these contents, alfalfa can be considered useful as a vegetable for detoxifying the body of unwanted toxins and metabolites. From Doc Emil:

Alfalfa can be bought from supermarkets. Try looking at the vegetable section. It is not always available, so you may want to ask the store attendants.

    Dear Doc Emil,

Gud pm. Madali po bang patubuin ang Alfalfa? Is this available In Bureau of Plants and Industies?

     ———————-

From Doc Emil: Alfalfa seeds are easy to geminate but the problem is the seeds are not easy to secure, I think. It is not available in the Bureau of Plant Industry. You can actually buy the sprouts in the supermarket vegetable section in some instances (hindi palaging meron). Just check SM, Shopwise or Makati Supermart and you may find some. It has a very limited shelf life even if stored in the refrigerator.

    Hi Doc.

Where can I buy L Lysine in Manila?

    ————————————————-

From Doc Emil: L-lysine is usually part of multivitamins which you can buy from drug stores. Some examples are:  Cherifer, Molvite, Moriamin, Macrobee with lysine. You can also find them in food supplements for athletes; check the malls in Metro Manila and ask for outlets for natural products and food supplements.
